In the second half of September, three artists from Cracow – Cecylia Malik, Monika Drożyńska and Justyna Koeke – will present their works in the squares, underground stations, railway stations and streets of Brussels. 365 trees by Cecylia Malik, Urban Embroidery by Monika Drożyńska and Smoleńsk Street by Justyna Koeke will be shown in the form of a multimedia presentation from the projectors attached to the artists’ backs.
Performers will walk through the city with a specially designed three-dimensional island – carpet in the form of the Małopolska Region – reflecting the regional countryside: landscape (higlands, valleys, mountain ranges), animals, plants and typical architecture. The performance is intented to be a mobile, interactive exhibition as the artists will interact with passers-by.
